AUTHOR: Robert TITLE: Good News and Frustrations DATE: 9/24/2003 09:26:00 PM ----- BODY: Hello everyone. Well we got some great news about Sheila today... She had her surgery this morning after a rather sudden fortunate turn of events yesterday afternoon... we finally got to the right doctor who then told us he was the wrong doctor, but he helped us... which was crucial. He got on the phone and called the right doctor and said the whole "You don't understand, this woman needs to be seen now!" kind of thing and got her in to see a great doctor right away. She had her surgery this morning (less than 24 hours after that doctor made the phone call) and she's already feeling much better. Today was a frustrating day otherwise, though. Rob worked really hard all day long and didn't make much progress on the tasks he needed to complete, and Adam needed to take care of Sheila which involved his taking a day off of work, which they didn't very much appreciate, but it needed to happen. Adam's boss is a "see you next tuesday" kind of person. And that's all I've got to say about that. Anyway, hopefully things will turn around tomorrow. I'm just trying to keep as much of a positive attitude as possible and keep my chin up. This has all got to turn tide for the better sometime, or else I'll be blogging to you all using a spray paint can and writing my posts on billboards. Which ain't CHEAP, so use the Amazon link to the right! :) just kidding. Speaking of money, my Mom (Peggy) got a phone call from Scudder Retirement Services...seems that when I left PC Magazine a few years ago, I left some money behind, so they're mailing it to me, which will be good since this paycheck has rent coming out of it :( Talk to you all soon.
